The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>This Company is seeking a Technology Technical Writer to join the Technology Communications & Outreach team within its Technology Oversight & Coordination organization (TOC). This team is a key enabler in fulfilling TOC’s mission of creating value for This Company through effective communication with its vast stakeholders. The function is responsible for developing and communicating technology messages across various channels (in digital, social and print) for the downstream and strategic research domains. The Technology Technical Writer’s primary role is to provide specialist knowledge and skills for the creation of content within the technology organizations and domains across This Company’s operations; and to analyze detailed and technical information, strategies, programs and technologies, and provide accurate and impactful material for dissemination throughout This Company</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepares technology content for existing and upcoming research programs</li> <li>Focus on sustainable and flagship critical business areas</li> <li>Content is used in company communications channels, department reports/strategies, and for delivery throughout TOC</li> <li>Formulates technical responses with Technology Communications function for engagement with external stakeholders</li> <li>Stakeholders include partners, analysts, consumers, and general public</li> <li>Writes and edits material for publication in department reports, committees, dialogues, and forums</li> <li>Produces special articles focused on technology and research science</li> <li>Articles published in company periodicals and industry publications such as Dimensions and the Journal of Technology</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related field from a recognized University.</li> <li>Proven background in technical or industrial programs, including proficiency in written English language.</li> <li>10 years of experience in public relations, journalism, press, or related fields, with a substantial amount in global locations and proven content generation in technical fields.</li> <li>High command of oral and written English, with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable.</li> <li>Knowledge of Company operations, policies, and challenges, with the ability to present the corporate image, would be beneficial. However, previous experience in a similar organization, with proven content generation in technical fields, will also be considered.</li> <li>Proficiency in utilizing print and editing software.</li> <li>Able to write in explanatory, technical, and storytelling styles for multiple audiences.</li><br></ul> <p> </p>
