Technical Business Analyst
Job Description
<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be working closely with the Business Analysts to understand, analyse the functional requirements to create high level technico-functional specification and to design the solutions. He or she will also be working with the Developers and QA team to explain the requirements and ensure the technical analysis and test scenarios meet expectations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>â–ª Analyse requirements and create high level technico-functional specification, design the solutions and describe how the system will meet these requirements. This specification may include diagrams, flowcharts, data models, user stories, and other technical documentation.</p><p>â–ª Discuss business bugs with QA, consultants and product team</p><p>â–ª Meet with developers to explain the requirements and the generated documents, to ensure the technical analysis meets expectations.</p><p>â–ª Analyse with the QA team the different business scenarios to cover, assist them to simulate complex business scenarios, and in solving problems.</p><p>â–ª During the development phase, ensure that the system is being built according to the specifications, and that it meets business requirements</p><p>â–ª Perform the first level of tests on the delivered development.</p><p>â–ª Create and maintain technico-functional documentation related to the system.</p><p>â–ª Participate in client meetings when discussing business requirements and projects.</p><p>â–ª Research for innovations and solutions while performing gap analysis with the system and identify improvement opportunities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in MIS, or Computer Engineering or Computer Science Degree or equivalent</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p><p>â–ª Minimum 2 years of Software Development experience</p><p>â–ª Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position</p><p>â–ª Strong knowledge in banking business</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Languages:</strong></p><p>Fluent in English and French</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Computer skills:</strong></p><p>â–ª Strong testing, documentation, and programming skills</p><p>â–ª SQL knowledge</p><p>â–ª PLSQL and Java are a plus</p><p><br></p><p><strong><span class=”ql-cursor”> </span>Other skills:</strong></p><p>â–ª Excellent communication skills</p><p>â–ª Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills</p>
