DevOps Engineer
Job Description
<br><p>We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. </p><ul><li><span>you will be responsible to ensure the stability, performance, and proper functioning of our applications in the context of our DevSecOps approach. </span>Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services. </li><li><span>Work closely with our team to integrate security considerations throughout the process and ensure that our CI/CD workflow is optimized for success</span></li><li><span>Delivering a highly effective and secure end-product.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Below are some of the responsibilities a Devops Engineer is expected to assume in their position:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Implement integrations requested by customers</span></li><li><span>Deploy updates and fixes</span></li><li><span>Provide Level 2 technical support</span></li><li><span>Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience</span></li><li><span>Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems</span></li><li><span>Perform root cause analysis for production errors</span></li><li><span>Investigate and resolve technical issues</span></li><li><span>Develop scripts to automate visualization</span></li><li><span>Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Tasks</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Migrating existing infrastructure to AWS and/or Azure </span></li><li><span>Upgrading the infrastructure to utilize managed AWS and/or Azure services</span></li><li><span>Establishing tools and operational procedures for efficient management.</span></li><li>Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes</li><li>Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><span>Problem-solving attitude</span></li><li><span>Team spirit</span></li><li><span>Proficient in administering Windows Server or Linux Knowledge of authentication fundamentals </span></li><li><span>Familiarity with scripting languages Understanding of web architectures </span></li><li><span>Ability to hold a conversation in English</span><strong>.</strong></li><li><span>AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms </span></li><li><span>CI/CD pipelines and associated tools </span></li><li><span>Docker, Nomad, Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm …</span></li><li>Prometheus, Zabbix observability is imperative to success. </li><li><span>Automation processes </span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience required</strong></p><p><br></p><p>1 year of experience.</p>
