<p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>An exhibitions and interior estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects related to exhibitions and interior design. They work closely with clients, project managers, and suppliers to understand project requirements, develop a list of materials and labor needed, and calculate the associated costs. Estimators in these fields must have a wide range of knowledge about suppliers and materials, as well as an understanding of current market prices.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials</p><p>- Identify potential suppliers and solicit quotes for materials and services</p><p>- Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate prices to ensure the best value for the project</p><p>- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment costs</p><p>- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers</p><p>- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers</p><p>- Manage change orders and ensure that all costs are accounted for</p><p>- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices and materials costs</p><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field</p><p>- Strong analytical and mathematical skills</p><p>- Excellent communication and negotiation skills</p><p>- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office</p><p>- Knowledge of exhibition and interior design materials and suppliers</p><p>- Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications</p><p>- Experience with project management and scheduling</p><p>- Attention to detail and accuracy</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to the above, an exhibitions and interior estimator with a wide range of supplier knowledge should have an extensive network of contacts in the industry, and be able to identify alternative sources of materials and services when necessary. They should also be able to recommend cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of the project.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
