Job Description
<p>As Group Exercise Master trainer you will oversee and manage the group classes. You will set the class timetable in coordination with the club manager and upon the reports and the evaluation of each class and the instructors’ performance.</p><p>You will have managerial duties—such as hiring, training, and supervising group exercise instructors—on top of teaching classes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Recruit, train and roster the appropriate amount of Group Exercise Instructors.</p><p>2. Acquire and maintain a complete understanding of the skills required to perform any Group</p><p>Exercise function successfully.</p><p>3. Follow up on the latest trends in Group Exercise and bring in what is needed.</p><p>4. Perform reporting and administrative functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.</p><p>5. Deliver the requisite number of Group Exercise classes on a monthly basis.</p><p>6. Deliver the highest standards of Customer Care.</p><p>7. Ensure all Human Resources protocols are followed, and the Club is effectively always staffed.</p><p>8. Regularly pushes the GX team to upgrade their knowledge, education, and performance.</p><p>9. Actively plan, manage and run Fitness Events that will encourage the members to choose</p><p>classes.</p><p>10. Oversee the maintenance in all studios and report and follow up on any issue.</p><p>11. COO</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p><p>1. Must possess strong motivational, interpersonal, and communication skills.</p><p>2. Proactive attitude.</p><p>3. Computer literate</p><p>4. Must be solution orientated.</p><p>5. Must be a self-starter and hold strong organizational skills.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><p><strong>1. Minimum of 4 year’s previous Group Exercise experience in one of the following gyms (1 minimum): Barry’s, Orange, 1rebel, and SoulCycle.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>2.
