Job Description
<p><strong>Electrical Design Engineer </strong></p><p>We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to be part of our Electrical Design team. You will part of a team that develop design from concept to IFC level of drawings. To perform well in this role you should have experience as an Electrical Design and knowledge around all Local Codes and Regulation that is followed in Saudi Arabia and internationally. </p><p><strong>Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Creating designs for electrical systems based on engineering specifications and industry standards, using computer software applications such as AutoCAD and BIM and other software related to electrical load calculations .</li><li>Conducting surveys of existing facilities to determine the nature of electrical problems or issues that may need to be addressed during construction</li><li>Drafting preliminary drawings of electrical systems such as wiring diagrams and floor plans showing where electrical outlets will be placed in a building</li><li>Coordinating with architects and other designers to ensure that designs meet all applicable electrical codes and regulations. </li><li>Recommending materials and equipment based on cost and quality</li><li>Performing calculations and analyses to determine the most effective design for electrical systems</li><li>Consulting with architects, engineers, contractors, or other specialists involved in the design process to ensure that designs are feasible</li><li>Creating detailed designs of electrical systems such as lighting, transformers, switches, motors, fuses, breakers, and wiring</li></ul><p><strong>Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Experience in Electrical Design for Buildings and infrastructure for at least 8 years.</li><li>worked as an Electrical Design Consultant.</li><li>Experience in local codes of Saudi Arabia and regulations. </li><li>Experience in SEC requirements and process.</li><li>Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.</li><li>Ability to give presentations.</li><li>Knowledge of BIM software and AutoCAD.</li><li>Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.</li><li>Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, teams and Outlook.</li></ul><p></p>
