<strong>Purpose of the Job</strong><p><br></p>This position is responsible for the quality control stage for software development and deployment. As well as conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its business needs and any bugs or issues are removed within Coptic Orphans products before it gets deployed to production environments.<p><br></p><strong><u>Essential Functions And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of the supported business areas and associated processes to provide timely, cost-effective testing while minimizing and mitigating risks.</li><li>Analyze users’ stories, use cases and business requirements for validity and feasibility.</li><li>Develop effective testing strategies and test case scenarios “Manual/Automated” </li><li>Design and develop automation testing scripts when needed.</li><li>Evaluate and assess applications codes to ensure its compliance with software development standards and detect/track any defects and inconsistencies.</li><li>Responsible for leading, creating and executing all levels of testing plans (System, Integration, and Regression) based on the developed requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Analyze all testing results and provide objective feedback and present findings to software development and business teams.</li><li>Create logs to document testing phases and defects.</li><li>Work with business and development team to review the developed testing plans and scripts and provide a timely and a clear status of testing progress and bug reporting.</li><li>Implement stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing</li><li>Test in different software environments including backend, web, mobile and all its related integrations.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Required Education, Experience, Knowledge And Skills</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.</li><li>4 years of experience as a Software Tester or a similar role</li><li>Working knowledge of programming is a must</li><li>Agile software development lifecycle experience is a must</li><li>Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs</li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent communication, critical thinking, multitasking and problem-solving skills</li><li>Team player</li><li>Good time-management skills</li><li>Excellent MS Office &amp; Visio skills</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Travel And Working Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Limited to typical office environment such as walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage</li><li>Working out of the official hours and on weekends may be required</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><em>Job Posted by ApplicantPro</em></strong>
