The mission of the Marketing Head is to create simply outstanding experiences with activation of all touchpoints in the consumer journey.<br><br>In this role, you will drive the design, development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs, using consumer insights, business, and market intelligence, to drive a consumer centric approach to growing the brand and business in the market.<br><br>You will propose, develop, and implement marketing plans, and recommends initiatives and best practices to support the organization’s short- and long-term business objectives, while ensuring that our brand is represented according to principles and that guidelines are applied consistently throughout<br><br>In detail, you will:<br><br><strong><u>Overall strategy and planning:<br></u></strong><ul><li> Define local marketing strategy and plan, as part of cascade from BA strategy + follow up on execution in the market.</li><li> Lead and develop all strategic Marketing & TM plans for Egypt portfolio to ensure the delivery of the local market Net Sales, Margin & budget, and brand goals across all product lines, in conjunction with the centrally developed IMAP</li><li>Ensure Marketing & Trade marketing Strategy is effectively managed and deployed across all segments, the full portfolio and across all trade channels. </li><li>Development and Execution of Marketing plan that ensure sales and gross margin targets are met for channels and product groups as defined in the annual budget </li><li> For global brands, Locally own the Brand Equity/BVP, positioning & Segmentation, to ensure adherence with global guidelines and where relevant lead, develop and manage local differences in an effective and transparent way.</li><li>For local brands, Lead and own the development and deployment of all strategic brand management tools for Local brands ensuring a portfolio expression aligned with the global approach and tools.</li><li> Define and effectively manage the Marketing budget (Brand/Comms/Research/TM etc) and support over-arching budget management process for TMO and Ownership Solutions.</li><li> Lead the digital strategy and execution across all digital touch points (Social / Website) for effective deployment and transformation of the channel</li><li> Develop and lead the consumer communication and immersion of Egypt Service Center (19999) into the portfolio of brands and assets for the company with all consumers facing material and plans/analysis</li><li> Effectively manage strategic alliances, agencies and suppliers. Ensure effective communication and relationship to deliver on all objectives.</li><li> Lead all Consumer research Quantitative and Qualitative; from planning, budget and research execution including analysis and recommendations.</li><li> Effectively define and manage the Consumer Marketing Activities across all channels; including ATL/BTL/commercial PR & product plans/Influencers/Digital/Activation.</li><li> Effectively manage the ongoing analysis, creation and production of all cross channel Trade Marketing and Sales material, including strategic development of our Zanussi/HomeZone channel and store design as a consumer tool.</li><li> Strong support to new product development, both through Industrial Engineering & Design and Product Line with consumer insights / BVP translation and ideation.</li><li> Drive, develop and represent the Marketing and Commercial material & deployment through CP checkpoints for all relevant product lines.</li><li> Set the strategic direction and scope for Procurement/Purchasing related to marketing and trade marketing to ensure a smooth and fit to purpose annual rooster of contracted suppliers.</li><li> Continually audit and analyze the company’s competitive position to highlight competitor activity and new opportunities for share growth for Electrolux group</li><li> Continually coach and develop the team on technical and soft skills through individual sessions and on the job training</li><li> Active member of the Egypt Management team</li><li> Participate in agency meetings. Ensuring that our investment is maximized, and our operating model is optimized</li><li> Synergize agencies in market, with particular focus on remuneration model and value for money<br><br></li></ul>Excellence in execution:<br><ul><li> Ensure that we optimize our activation and roll out of campaigns and other marketing activities to maximum impact</li><li> Follow up on execution by reporting to senior leadership on status, measurement and follow up</li><li> Ensure our brand value is maximized but delivering high quality marketing materials at all touchpoints<br><br></li></ul>Team Management:<br><ul><li> Manage the local marketing for excellence and development of employees according plans in Talent One</li><li> Ensure growth opportunities are provided and met where planned</li><li> Ensure annual reviews and development plans in Talent One<br><br></li></ul>Commercial triangle and collaborative leadership:<br><ul><li> Ensure commercial triangle meetings are scheduled and attended by functional leaders (collaboratively), driving the agenda and ensuring valuable output</li><li> Lead marketing initiatives based on findings in commercial triangle meetings, to adjust course of annual plans based on business need<br><br></li></ul>Planning and approval of consumer promotions:<br><ul><li> In collaboration with sales and product teams, ensure that there is an annual plan for consumer promotions that maximize ROI</li><li> Ensure brand-led sales driving philosophy is applied to every promotion</li><li> Own overall calendar of promotions and approval process (with finance) to ensure ROI/self funding is adhered to</li><li> Require and ensure that follow up of each promotion is done<br><br></li></ul>REPONSIBILITIES (% of time):<br><ul><li> (30%) Overall strategy and planning</li><li> (15%) Excellence in execution</li><li> (20%) Team Management</li><li> (20%) Commercial triangle and collaborative leadership</li><li> (15%) Planning and approval of consumer promotions<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong>Personal Attributes:<br><ul><li> Passionate about delivering simply outstanding consumer experiences.</li><li> Extensive experience in marketing including retail, social media, paid media, campaign, consumer lifecycle management.</li><li> Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.</li><li> Ability to think in a creative and strategic way, but adept at delivering operationally.</li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across regions and functions.</li><li> Ability to learn fast and adapt well in unfamiliar situations.</li><li> Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
