<p><strong><em><u>&nbsp;Veterinary Nurse</u></em></strong></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>GVC is recruiting for an exceptional full time </em><strong><em>Veterinary Nurse</em></strong><em>. We are looking for someone who is currently working as a Veterinary Nurse in practice in the UAE and who has the energy, ambition and ability to join our outstanding clinical team. </em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>We are looking for someone who has:</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li><em>An absolute love for animals</em></li><li><em>Outstanding attention to detail&nbsp;</em></li><li><em>Excellent teamwork and </em></li><li><em>The confidence to work independently when required</em></li><li><em>A minimum of three years veterinary nurse experience within a small animal clinic </em></li><li><em>Experience of working in a busy first-opinion environment is desirable</em></li><li><em>Demonstrable skill utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment</em></li><li><em>Competence in surgical and anesthesia protocols and practices&nbsp;</em></li><li><em>Knowledge of Fear Free and Cat Friendly principles and practices is desirable but not essential (as training will be provided) </em></li><li><em>Confidence to communicate with clients regarding case information and basic pet ownership knowledge&nbsp;</em></li><li><em>Excellent communication skills</em></li><li><em>Fluent English is essential </em></li><li><em>The ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines</em></li><li><em>IT competence using a range of standard software programs</em></li><li><em>Knowledge of RX Works would be advantageous </em></li><li><em>A flexible and cooperative approach to working hours and shift schedules </em></li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>And, in return, the role offers:</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li><em>A competitive salary commensurate to role and experience</em></li><li><em>Annual CPD allowance and career progression opportunities</em></li><li><em>A fantastic working environment and</em></li><li><em>The opportunity to be part of a wonderful team!</em></li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p>
