<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Microsoft NAV Developer / Implementer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementing and maintaining NAV for new business processes, customizations, and upgrades. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Configuring, developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas</li><li>Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development</li><li>Creating functional requirements and functional specs based on user specification</li><li>Converting functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents</li><li>Making technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom development</li><li>Planning, designing, developing, maintaining and supporting NAV business systems.</li><li>Testing functionality against business requirements</li><li>Analyzing, documenting and suggesting system enhancements through communication with users, management and customers / vendors to meet business goals and satisfy business and technical requirements.</li><li>Developing curricula, organizing and delivering formal training on NAV functionality, including customizations and add-ons</li><li>Dealing with complex situations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and critical support</li><li>Maintaining / administering security settings for NAV users; responsible for overall application security</li><li>Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live support</li><li>Planning and executing upgrades and releases</li><li>Assisting sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Technical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>3 or more years of Dynamics NAV Development experience</li><li>Technical design, development and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules and add-ons</li><li>SQL Experience (Setup and Configuration) for NAV 2013 and later</li><li>Dynamics NAV Web Services</li><li>.NET experience</li><li>Experience participating in Work Scoping &amp; Estimation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Other Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Technical design, development and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules and add-ons</li><li>Minimum 2-4 years practical experience analyzing, coding, developing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP systems</li><li>4-year Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and other related areas</li><li>Self-starter capable of independent, creative work, with demonstrated experience defining requirements and delivering applications to meet requirements</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with latest versions of NAV (2013 or later) required, additional experiences with prior NAV versions / data migration experience highly desirable</li><li>Dynamics NAV Extensions</li><li>SQL Certification</li></ul><li></li>
