<strong><u>Purchasing Manager (hotel Experience Only)</u></strong><p><br></p>Organises and manages purchasing operations, including day-to-day and assigned project purchases. Manages contracts, including administering, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, filing, and evaluating for product availability, price, term, and quality. coordinating the bid procedure and making sure that conflict of interest policies are followed.<p><br></p><strong>5 to 10 years’ prior experience in the hotel industry in purchasing or procurement.</strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Experience In Hotels Is a MUST.</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>We provide full-board accommodation in the hotel for non-residents in Alexandria. </strong><p><br></p><strong>We provide medical insurance.</strong><p><br></p><strong>Salary: 10,000 L.E. to 15,000 L.E.</strong><p><br></p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Negotiate contracts with suppliers to buy the necessary supplies.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of transactions, trends, and vendor performance while working with suppliers to negotiate contracts, buy necessary items, and acquire the essential commodities. </li><li>Obtain comparable quotes for any hotel needs, and make sure the best product is located and bought.</li><li>Make sure the data about locally suggested suppliers are maintained up to date. </li><li>Maintain the list of active local supplier contracts.</li><li>Verify the Purchasing Manual is up to date. </li><li>Follow quality guidelines and standards and keep an eye on purchase administration to ensure that all rules and guidelines are followed.</li><li>Create the annual budget in collaboration with the finance manager. </li><li>Keep track of all budget obligations, and make sure that senior managers who are responsible are kept up to date on any adjustments.</li><li>Establish a thorough procedure for distributing and comparing purchase orders.</li><li>Maintain communication with the suppliers to the hotel industry and provide reports on their activity.</li><li>Keep business health and safety, quality assurance, and control processes in mind while you supervise the operation of the stores. </li><li>Create correct stock records and keep accurate requisition and replenishment transaction records.</li><li>Observe every aspect of purchase, such as contracts, leases, and nominations.</li><li>In a timely and correct manner, prepare the month-end accounting reports.</li><li>As directed by the hotel management, carry out task demands. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Job Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>5 to 10 years’ prior experience in the hotel industry in purchasing or procurement.</li><li>BS degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration</li><li>Strong communication skills, including listening and speaking.</li><li>Proven financial knowledge and proficiency managing budgets.</li><li>Have strong MS Excel skills. </li><li>Excellent planning and time-management skills.</li><li>Solid judgment along with decision-making skills</li><li>Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management</li><li>Interest in market dynamics along with business sense</li><li>A knack for negotiation and networking</li><li>Working experience with vendor management software</li><li>ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>About Paradise Inn Group For Hotels And Resorts</u></strong><p><br></p>Luxury hotel Dating back to the early 20th century, this historic hotel is right on Alexandria’s waterfront where breakfast can be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with panoramic Corniche views.
