As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Front Desk Receptionist duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.</p><p><br></p><p> To be successful as a Front Desk Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Front Desk Receptionist duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned beauticians of their arrival</li><li>Book and confirm appointments via phone and email</li><li>Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts</li><li>Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area</li><li>Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability</li><li>Inform clients about new services and discounts</li><li>Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)</li><li>Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered</li><li>Manage our call centre</li><li>Maintain a tidy reception area</li><li>Order business cards, brochures and stationery as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Β· A minimum of a Bachelor degree</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements and skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role</li><li>Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems</li><li>Familiarity with processing transactions</li><li>Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude</li><li>Excellent Microsoft office skills</li><li>Fluency in English is a must</li></ul>
