Job Description
<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>Ensure effective implementation of financial standards; Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Egyptian Accounting Principals.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Daily physical cash payments and receipts from the treasury and create hard vouchers to be approved before paying or receipt (T&B).</li><li>Daily report of treasury transactions attach by hard vouchers of payments or receipts (T&B).</li><li>Analyze bank and treasury transactions (cash in & cash out) actual on monthly basis (T&B).</li><li>Bank and treasury reconciliation on monthly basis (T&B).</li><li>Follow-up with banks invoices payments, transactions and transfers.</li><li>Follow up; review all records of all warehouse transactions and its journal entries (C&AP).</li><li>Supervise the Physical count on monthly, quarterly and annual basis and prepare comparison report with book balances (C&AP).</li><li>Prepare monthly calculation of cost per lot for all products and allocate the overhead as per ABC costing (C&AP).</li><li>Payment and invoices of accounts payable (C&AP).</li><li>Follow up, collect and record customer’s collection and update the accounts receivable balances on daily basis (AR).</li><li>Prepare all tax reports (Withholding Tax, VAT and stamp tax, payroll tax, …) (G)</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP & IFRS principles (G)</li><li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures (G)</li><li>Prepare financial position/statements on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (G).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, with minimal five (5) years of experience preferred in distribution environment. </li><li>Preferred CMA holder.</li><li>Experience with Odoo EPR is a plus.</li></ul>
