Job Description

<p>We are looking for a creative Design Lead with business sense to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development to liaising with the stakeholders and to execute the design.</p><p>You will be responsible to head the region and make business proposition viable for Chalk Studio from building your own lean team, winning clients and site execution, managing P&amp;L etc. You will work under the direct supervision of Studio Head in India.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>How will you contribute -</em></strong></p><p>● To undertake design projects from concept development to completion.</p><p>● To maintain &amp; monitor design department as a cost centre while managing P&amp;L of the region.</p><p>● To work with clients to define project requirements and develop design criteria and project budget.</p><p>● To ensure all design work is completed to highest standards while handling any design escalations from client’s end.</p><p>● Responsible to handle cross functional teams.</p><p>● Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices.</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>What you will bring -</em></strong></p><p>● Must have proven work experience in designing interior spaces.</p><p>● Well versed in managing the balance sheet for a vertical where in significant progress was made in scaling revenue, profits, market share.</p><p>●In depth understanding of all contours of the interior design industry from branding, marketing, client acquisition, client hygiene, execution and managing finances.</p><p>● Good knowledge of Auto-CAD, google SketchUp, In-design &amp; Photoshop. </p><p>● Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.</p><p>● A strong ability to lead a design team through influence and inspiration.</p><p>● Strong leadership skills.</p><p>● Experience in interacting with and influencing cross-functional teams.</p><p>● Excellent communicators, confident writers, and speakers.</p><p>● Creative talent, imagination and eye for detail.</p><p></p>
