Lead Software Engineer

Job Description

<ul><li>Identifying project requirements, define coding standards, and developing task allocations for the team</li><li>Leading internal projects related to internal tools, designing, schema and interfacing various payments/accounting APIs</li><li>Planning and conducting code reviews</li><li>Liaising with team members across departments, Management and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed and up to quality standard</li><li>Working closely with our product and design team to better understand end-user requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>At least 5 years of hands-on technical leadership experience in a software development environment – this is an important must-have</p><p>5+ years of experience developing highly scalable and maintainable web applications</p><p>Proficiency in technologies/languages including SQL, React, PHP Javascript/Jquery, S3, Memcache, Redis, Javascript, Heroku, Postgres, MySQL.</p><p>Solid knowledge of OOP and functional programming, software design and database systems</p><p>Demonstrated experience, exposure and interest in the fintech space. Having worked with a fintech company will be a big advantage.</p><p>A deep understanding of accounting and expense management systems</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Experience in team lead 5 years at least</strong></p><p><strong>Background in Computer Science, Engineering</strong></p><p><strong>A background in IT, computer science and/or cloud computing with a good understanding of networking, servers, storage systems, enterprise applications and the cloud.</strong></p><p><strong>Expert knowledge and understanding of cloud architecture design and familiar with architecture methodology and practice in applications/websites.</strong></p>
