Cost Control Engineer

Job Description

<p><strong>Role Purpose:</strong></p><p>Maintain projects financial goals; to monitor the project expenditure and ensure the project expenditure is in line with company standard.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare Projects budget.</li><li>Prepare Cost Reports.</li><li>Prepare Company Portfolio Cost Reports Presentation.</li><li>Analyses project performance and data base update.</li><li>Liaise with PCM/PCD, to obtain project estimation file.</li><li>Review project estimation file and escalate possible irregularity to CCM/ PCM/PCD.</li><li>Rectify and amend the project estimation as deemed necessary after counselling with CCM/PCM/PCD.</li><li>Prepare project Baseline Budget in conformity with company’s norms, standards cost manual.</li><li>Liaise with all related department to obtain actual cost allocated to the project’s cost centre.</li><li>Prepare Monthly Project Cost Control Report and issue to stake holders after review with CCM/ PCM/ PCD.</li><li>Analyse and highlight any cost deviation/overrun/irregularity and escalate to PCM/ PCD /PM.</li><li>Review project’s budget in case of any additional scope and amend as necessary.</li><li>Prepare project close-out cost report, review with CCM and issue to PM and tender department for reference and future consideration.</li><li>Ensure that all established HSE &amp; Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.</li><li>Report all violations and resolved on time</li><li>Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other related engineering field.</li><li>5+ years’ experience in the domain of project management, project control, planning, and estimation, budgeting and cost control.</li><li>Excellent knowledge in planning/cost control techniques, methods, systems, standards and software.</li><li>Industry Certifications in Project Management and Project Controls Computer literate.</li></ul><p></p>
