Overhead Crane Technician
Job Description
<p>Hands-On experience in servicing variety of EOT crane brands such as Kone, Demag, Abus, Morris, Terex, Munck, Stahl, etc. and all types including Single Girder, Double Girder, Gantry, Semi-Gantry, Jib, Monorails, Winches, etc.</p><p><br></p><p>Location: Saudi Arabia and can be assigned to different locations including Dammam, Jeddah, Yanbu, etc.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1- Install and commission EOT and Jib cranes.</p><p>2- Understand structural, mechanical, and electrical systems of EOT cranes.</p><p>3- Inspect and repair overhead and jib cranes.</p><p>4- Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot EOT crane problems.</p><p>5- Diagnose and repair three phase and single-phase electrical control circuits and motors of overhead cranes.</p><p>6- Diagnose, repair, or replace mechanical components of overhead cranes.</p><p>7- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and conduct load certification tests.</p><p>8- Lead other technicians in the team and provide necessary support for solving technical problems.</p><p>9- Interact with customer to identify technical problems, recommend solutions, and required spare parts.</p><p>10- Prepare service and completion reports for maintenance work at site.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>1- Safety oriented.</p><p>2- VFD knowledge.</p><p>3- PLC knowledge is a plus.</p><p>4- Ability to work at elevated heights and comfortable with safety equipment.</p><p>5- Service oriented, well organized, and friendly.</p><p>6- Good English language.</p><p>7- Minimum 10 years’ experience in overhead crane services.</p><p>8- Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering.</p><p>9- Driving license is a plus.</p><p>10- Physically fit.</p>
