Job Description
The Kaizen Company seeks a Learning Analytics Specialist for Djibouti to support the delivery and innovation of learning, monitoring, and evaluation (LME) efforts for the USAID Ethiopia and Djibouti Learning Analytics Activity (LAA). Engages directly with Mission offices, leading and coordinating hands-on work with LAA staff to assemble evidence and conduct analysis that informs learning. The Learning Analytics Specialist reports to the Addis based Learning Analytics Director.
Responsibilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain close collaborative relationships with USAID/Djibouti
- Collaborate with LAA colleagues to assemble evidence and conduct analysis that informs learning
- In collaboration with the Learning Analytics Director, support the design and implementation of LAA LME strategies and initiative for USAID/Djibouti
- Identifies ways to reduce knowledge-sharing barriers (e.g., through the application of e-sharing and learning tools, such as outcome mapping, social network analyses, and Communities of Practice)
- Raise awareness and build knowledge of new and emerging LME approaches and capabilities available to USAID/Djibouti
- Support and lead cohesive learning agendas consistent with USAID/Djibouti Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS)
- Excellent written, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong planning and execution skills, driven to produce on time, with excellent quality.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks with accuracy and respond to changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree with eight yearsβ experience in training, facilitation, CLA/M&E, or in related duties and responsibilities.
- Experience working in collaboration, learning, and adapting (CLA) space specifically, sharing and using best practices and emerging trends in CLA, training, and facilitation.
- Client services and skills in both internal and external intentional collaborations and cooperation
- Ability to articulate knowledge and good practices to a non-expert audience
- Ability in relationship building and human-centered management approach
- Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and French
