As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our industrial products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the highest levels of quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for our industrial products
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to drive efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Up to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on procurement and supplier management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
