A Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing and administering the Salesforce platform for an organization. They work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the organization and is configured and customized to optimize its usage.
The following are the key responsibilities of a Salesforce Consultant:
Configuration and Customization: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for configuring and customizing the platform to meet the needs of the organization. This includes setting up custom fields, creating flows, and managing user permissions.
User Management: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing user accounts, profiles, and roles. They ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to the platform and that their accounts are set up correctly.
Data Management: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing the organization’s data within the platform. They ensure that data is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across the platform.
Reports and Dashboards: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for creating reports and dashboards to help business stakeholders make informed decisions. They work closely with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports and dashboards to track them.
Integration: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for integrating the platform with other systems and applications used by the organization. This includes ensuring that data is flowing between systems correctly and that the integration is secure.
Training and Support: The Salesforce Consultant is responsible for providing training and support to users of the platform. This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to users.
Skills and Qualifications
– 4+ years of Salesforce experience
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.
– Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Sales Cloud is a MUST
– Knowledge of Lightning web component development, Lightning design development
– Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce pages
– Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
– Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions
– Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports.
– Must have Certifications: ADM-201, Sales Cloud Consultant,PD1
