As an Industry Solutions Architect for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS), The individual will work with HWB, Tech/Digital and other NEOM sectors digital streams to facilitate business transformation and map success patterns.

As Healthcare, Data Processing and AI Technology Lead you will be responsible in developing novel, leading-edge machines learning, AI models, data models, and statistical models that run in our big data environment to infuse advanced analytics and automation into our functional clinical and biotechnology areas. Serve as the architect and custodian of NEOM Health & Biotech statistical guidance library codifying the best thinking on statistical and Development topics and the sector response to a changing regulatory landscape

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

Designing and leading the Healthcare & biotech analytics Data Structure and Models by defining data requirements, guiding data integration, define data analytics solutions and applications road map, control data assets, and modernizing Data Architecture for AI as put forth in a data strategy.

Educate HWB statisticians and clinicians on emerging or existing advanced statistical methodology.

Focusing on computational biology and Systems Medicine, drive change through influence, negotiation, and collaboration

Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable results, in different domains (e.g. risk management, product development, marketing research, supply chain, etc.)

Collaborate with different NEOM sectors and Health departments to optimize clinical trial study designs and programs. Inform clinical development evaluations via modeling and simulation and other methodology as appropriate

Serve as a leading representative engaging on external industry challenges like AI/machine/deep learning applications, advanced analytics and complex innovative designs. Represent the HWB sector externally on advanced and emerging topics.

Create tools (e.g., R-shiny, SAS, R etc.) and platforms that operationalize key methodology making diverse approaches available to study teams

Driving transformational value through cutting-edge applications of Bigdata, AI and Machine Learning tools that are fully scaled into the business.

Develop standards and processes for a data science solution

Drive the Strategy of Data Analytics within different Business area

Be hands on and drive the team to use the correct data analytics technology stack

Build and develop a data science team

Develop and implement strategic partnership with the business

Support the Digital Health Director in building and maintaining relationships and establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Support in inter-sectoral meeting providing and gathering input as it relates to strategy, planning, risks, etc.

Prepare relevant progress reports as required to update relevant stakeholders on progress

Collate stakeholders’ feedback on issues, challenges and unmet requirements and develop action plans

Act as the key sector representative in building and managing relationships with providers and counterparts (e.g., contract management)

Ensure management is kept abreast of related developments, risks arising and progress

Background, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical or scientific field, or equivalent relevant work experience.8-10 years in Clinical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology field
  • Knowledge of Clinical research, Fundamentals of Project Management, working in a matrix-based environment is a must.
  • 8-10 years’ experience within Data Science / AI / Machine Learning in Healthcare and or Life science field
  • Expertise in deep learning.
  • At least 5 years of full-time work experience in a Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Advanced Statistics role.
  • Experience of cloud-based data warehousing platforms, NoSQL and SQL;
  • Expertise/experience in Python or R, Spark, PySpark, Numpy, Snowflake, MongoDB, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn, Jupyter Environment, Conda;
  • Strategic business acumen, a focus on results, and a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to leverage MAL/AI to solve key business problems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to bring forward new technologies and patterns and apply them into the organization
  • Proficiency in agile methodology
  • Experience in healthcare industry/Clinical/EHR is a MUST
  • Knowledge of principal Health Data Exchange Standards, HL7, FHIR

  • Cloud experience: AWS / Azure or any other enterprise platforms
  • Exposure to big data, AI, IoT and Machine Learning.
