Responsibilities
- Develop user interface designs, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for our mobile app
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design requirements are met and implemented effectively
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs
- Create and maintain a consistent design system and style guide for our mobile app
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and team members
- Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile app design
- Continuously seek to improve the overall design process and contribute to the growth of the design team in a fast-paced startup environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 – 5 years experience in product design or related field
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, with a focus on mobile app interfaces and user experiences
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
- Knowledge of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and mobile app best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a startup culture
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Familiarity with iOS and Android design guidelines and patterns
- Basic understanding of mobile app development processes and tools, such as Xcode or Android Studio, is a plus
