Job Description

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role for busy high end restaurants and 5 stars hotels.

Has a passion for food and beverage, a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike, and brings the core value of ‘TEAM’ to the restaurant. A natural leader, you are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality while leading service on the floor.

Main Duties

  • Supervise day-to-day activities and assist in the food and beverage outlets
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Ensures and maintains the productivity level of employees.
  • Provides the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.
  • Assists servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times.
  • Oversees the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years’ of full-service restaurant management
  • Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Italian speaker
  • Knowledge of general accounting and inventory procedures
