Position Overview 

 

This role requires a passionate and self-motivated senior sales executive with technical experience in workwear, uniforms, textiles, and personal protective equipment. The candidate should excel at selling the value of Technoavia’s products and services. 

 

The ideal candidate should understand and educate themselves on the finer details of products, materials, features, and applicable standards. He or she should understand and have the ability to clearly communicate product benefits and apply them to end users applications and their working environments. 

 

The role requires a candidate who has proven experience in business development, negotiations, deal closing, and illustrating a cost-benefit analysis while making a compelling sales proposal. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Development Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Generation through LinkedIn, Cold Calls, Emails, Exhibitions, etc. 
  • Research & identify new business opportunities – including growth areas, market trends & partnerships 
  • Perform customer profiling based on agreed target industries, customer attributes and create a prospective customer/target list 
  • Conduct meaningful visits with a focus on showcasing samples, catalogs and educating the potential clients about product & service availability and distinct unique advantages 
  • Pitch a comprehensive company introduction, capabilities, products/services with a focus on benefits in written and oral communication with clarity and impact 
  • Together with Production, Procurement & Logistics teams, create costing sheets & quotations with clear rationale on pricing 
  • Collaborate with product experts and principal partners for joint client visits and create winnable propositions for the customer (supported by samples and customer presentations) 

Account Management Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with clients to establish credibility, trust, value creation & mutual ownership 
  • Manage expectations of the client to ensure clear information sharing and collaboration for smooth execution of orders and conduct resolutions of any client complaints/disputes 
  • Complete ownership of customer order execution and payment collections with support from Accounts, Logistics and Sales Support teams  
  • Enhance the client experience by offering new and existing products & services that benefit the operations and requirements of the client  

Reporting Responsibilities: 

  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting on sales activities, pipeline reports and planning 
  • Provide management feedback on market conditions, competitive products, policies & exhibitions in order to aid decisions on sales strategies 

 

Required Experience and Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Sales Skills – Business Development and Account Management of Key Accounts 
  • Awareness of large businesses, tenders, projects and customers with the UAE/GCC Region  
  • Ability to research and build sales plans 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar industry within the UAE 
  • Employment history of working with clients in Medical, Hospitality, Facility Management, Engineering, Energy, Oil & Gas, Logistics and Food Manufacturing Industries 
  • Comprehensive ability to work with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel) 
  • Experience with working on Sales ERP/CRM systems 
  • Engineering Degree or relevant Bachelor Degree  
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are an added advantage) 
  • UAE Driving License is mandatory
  • Arabic-speaking candidate preferred
