Role Purpose

  • Responsible for leading activities to develop forecasting and funding models and ensuring automation of Financial Planning and Analysis activities through effective use of systems

Performance Measures (KPIs)

  • Availability of effective financial models for planning, budgeting, forecasting and sensitivity analysis
  • Automation of planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and analytics

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of financial models for planning, budgeting, forecasting and sensitivity analysis
  • Work closely with team to enhance usage of models and methodologies and identify potential opportunities for automations into systems
  • Deploy funding model across the group to ensure a consistent funding requirement can be captured
  • Execute management consolidation of financial numbers to reflect a group wide performance and produce group wide consolidated financial reports for management analysis
  • Work closely with group wide finance network to ensure implementation of special projects to improve governance and control in the organization
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and technology in FP&A space and provide expert inputs to subsidiaries for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of the function and its accelerators
  • Work closely with FRC department teams to ensure FP&A activities are conducted in line with accounting standards
  • Liaise and support Transformation team in the designing and execution of initiatives and transformation programs

Background, Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 10 or more years’ experience in a similar role with a real estate, construction, sovereign wealth fund, or investments company
  • Extensive knowledge in Financial & Management Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge in Planning, Budgeting and & Management Reporting
  • Knowledge of Financial and Management Consolidation
  • Knowledge of SAP, BI and EPM tools

Qualifications

  • Post-graduation degree/diploma or equivalent in management accounting and/or Finance
  • Finance/Accounting certifications/qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or similar)
