Job Description
- be able to use drawing tablets and digital illustration software (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop)
- be able to work to a brief, solve problems creatively and adapt their style if needed; thinking creatively to produce new ideas
- develop visual ideas that suit the brief
- seek the editor’s/author’s approval for ideas with rough visuals and make any changes as required, right up to completion of the job
- work within a set timescale, often to tight deadlines and under pressure
- be multi-tasking: Possessing the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and competing priorities
- have excellent organizational skills
- work well with other illustrators, designers and editors;
- have self-motivation and committed.
