Job Description

To set & deploy the Trade Marketing Business Plan of an assigned brand/category and manage the execution of all necessary national & tailored activities to increase company Sales and maximize profitability through efficient spending within these categories/brands

 

–   Executing the yearly promotional plan on the brand and country level in line with brand guidelines, Sales feedback as well as shoppers’ insights.

Assist to manage a customer management business process which ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing, and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities.

Assists the Marketing department with the yearly promotional plan.

Ensures that promotional packaging is shipped to all markets within agreed timelines.

–   Makes sure the Trade Marketing budget and cost policies are applied.

–  Conducts market visits in coordination with Country Development Managers & Marketing

–  Responsible for applying key elements of the marketing mix such as setting the specific planogram, in-store displays, price announcements, and point-of-purchase materials.

–   Implements any programs designed to increase presence & sales at the trade.

–   Ensures trade marketing platforms, calendars, forecasts, and budgets are successfully implemented to drive consumption within the retailer (channel).

–   Successfully applies the trade marketing programs including merchandising campaigns, display programs, and trade promotions.

–  Keeps aligned with Distributors, Country, and Marketing Managers regarding in-field initiatives and programs.

–   Apply activation programs to improve brand visibility.

–   Regularly visits points of sales to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected.

–   Assists in the post-promotion analysis process to review trade promotions and make recommendations to the Country Manager to improve ROI and effectiveness of future promotions.

Reports market trends and makes category recommendations.

–  Works closely with the Marketing team and Country Manager to report and measure monthly/quarterly KPI goals for customer chains.

–  Executes all Trade marketing activation programs.

–    Interact with Sales & Marketing regarding deadlines / lead time required for promotions, pack/price. changes, new products, POSM, and others to ensure on-time and effective implementation.

–   Take the initiative to discuss new ideas with the Brand Managers to maximize the category potential in each account.

–  Implements channel strategy and programs together with marketing and Country Managers based on Consumer/Shopper/Category understanding.

–          Responsible for the effective Implementation and execution of the approved budget

 

  • BA Degree in Business Administration/Marketing
  • 2- 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing in the FMCG industry, preferably in food & beverage.
  • FMCG experience is a must
