Facilitate internal and external customer requests from beginning to end through the arrangement of airline tickets, reservation of accommodation, transportation, visa, meet and assist and other concierge services.
Provide customers with quotations in accordance with the client’s travel policy, ensuring that accurate travel related information is provided and that the most optimal rates have been acquired.
Facilitate all arrangements with supplier including the processing of payment.
Provide customers with all relevant information and documentation pertaining to their travel arrangements and the destination, including but not limited to the political and economic environment, major events taking place and special requirements for groups.
Reconfirm bookings and notify clients of luggage limits and insurance, medical, passport, visa and currency requirements
Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings where required.
Work closely with all other departments to ensure an efficient and professional service is delivered
Ensure that all requests are processed accurately within the prescribed turnaround time.
Adhere to any quality assurance procedures/check list for all bookings
Immediately bring any problems or complaints that may arise to the attention of the Travel Supervisor for instant resolution.
Act with a high level of confidentiality at all times
Ensure that all internal and external database including but not limited to suppliers, employees and customers are updated at all times.
Perform special tasks and duties allocated by the travel Supervisor/Manager/Director
