Pre Sales Engineer

We are looking for an IT Professional to fulfil an exciting and varied role that would suit a 2nd Line Engineer or someone with technical pre-sales experience.
The role is a great opportunity to ‘come off the tools’ and become involved in strategic input in client infrastructure, networks and more, pre-sales evaluations, quotes and proposals for new and existing business.
You will be based in our Doha office working from 7.30 to 5.00 Mondays to Saturdays (with an hour for lunch) but will also attend client visits with the Head of Account Management, other team members and alone, as well as occasional networking and other events.
Responsibilities include:
• Confirm that they are providing the correct service for the customer’s requirements using regular audits and checking methods
• Ensuring customer technical documentation including technical diagrams are up to date
• Assist with technical preparation for client visits
• Attend client visits either alone or as part of the team conducting system audits and discussing operational requirements including hardware and software opportunities
• Production of client proposals in liaison with Account Management, Design Team and Client
• Production of Statements Of Work
• Reporting sales opportunities to Head of Account Management
• Conduct and deliver pre-sales evaluations, proposals and quotations.
• Be a technical resource to assist in the delivery of Cyber security, passing on sales opportunities to Head of Account Management to act on.
• Complaints (Including Data/Security Breaches)
• Compliance Requests
• Data Subject Access Requests
• Assist team in the sales & project delivery and logistics process.
• Assisting in sourcing new products if their clients request something we do not normally supply and with the procurement process.
Sales
