Marketing Manager Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing manager to join our team at a home appliances brand in Iraq. The Marketing manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brand’s marketing strategy, as well as driving market development efforts to increase brand exposure and generate leads. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, as well as experience in market research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Branding Tasks:

1.   Develop and implement marketing strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives, and drive brand awareness and customer engagement across all relevant channels.

2.   Manage brand identity: Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand’s visual identity and messaging across all channels, ensuring consistency and coherence across all marketing collateral.

3.   Manage marketing budgets: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are cost-effective and meet ROI goals.

4.   Develop and manage marketing campaigns: Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation, leveraging a range of channels and tactics.

5.   Develop a content strategy: Develop a content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing strategy and supports the brand’s messaging and positioning, ensuring that all content is high-quality, engaging, and targeted to the right audience.

Market Development Tasks:

1.   Identify new market segments: Research and identify new market segments that the company can target to increase sales, including underserved or untapped segments or those that are experiencing growth.

2.   Conduct market research: Conduct market research to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and preferences, as well as to identify trends and opportunities in the market.

3.   Develop new product offerings: Based on market research, work with the product development team to identify and develop new product offerings that meet the needs of target customers.

4.   Establish partnerships and collaborations: Establish partnerships and collaborations with other businesses or organizations that can help increase brand exposure and generate leads.

5.   Expand distribution channels: Explore and identify new distribution channels that can help reach new customers or expand the company’s reach in the market.

6.   Adapt marketing strategies for the local market: Adapt marketing strategies to fit the unique cultural and linguistic aspects of the local market in Iraq, including developing campaigns in local languages or incorporating local customs and traditions into marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

路        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred

路        7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns

路        Experience in market research and analysis, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making

路        Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and vendors

路        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop effective marketing collateral and present it to executive-level stakeholders

路        Fluent in Arabic and English, with knowledge of other languages spoken in Iraq a plus

路        Strong understanding of the Iraqi market, including cultural and linguistic nuances and business practices.

The Marketing manager will play a critical role in driving the growth of our home appliances brand in Iraq, by developing and executing effective marketing strategies and driving market development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
