Job Description

The Sales Manager has an essential role in Guardia’s Commercial team; the role holder will be responsible for developing new clients using the most current sales techniques and prospecting potential new business opportunities.

 

The role calls for a strong technical knowledge with sales skills needed to sell products and services and respond effectively to customers’ queries. The role holder shall build the customers’ portfolio by maintaining the existing relationship with customers in addition to identifying potential new customers and business opportunities.

 

The Sales Manager should be responsible, focused, and persistent. Excellent planning, sales, negotiation, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must to succeed in this position, in addition to having a good sense of business acumen to achieve business objectives through critical business thinking and understanding complex business issues.

 

The scope of work shall cover the overall activity of Guardia in Lebanon and Iraq.

 

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a direct contact towards allocated customers; effectively communicates all offerings to the customers.
  • Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and customers’ expectations are met.
  • Ensures that customers issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Direct Manager of any problems that may arise.
  • Manages and interprets customer requirements in a way to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Owns the contract and contract renewals for new assignment for an existing customer.
  • Approves Change Orders and invoices in compliance with the management pre-set policies.
  • Responsible for payment collection; Coordinates with Accounting department.
  • Coordinates with Project Management Department for invoicing.
  • Works closely with Suppliers to design an optimized solution which meets the customer’s need.
  • Works closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager &/or the assigned project team in order to maintain continuous knowledge of project status so as to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Prepare proper sales proposals, submittals and supportive documents to meet and exceed the client’s expectations.
  • Negotiates tender and contract terms to meet both customer and company needs.
  • Negotiates and closes sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
  • Understand the contractual terms and follow on their applications during the tender submission and project execution.
  • Submits reports to Business Development and Sales Manager.

 

 

Qualifications

BE in Electrical Engineering or CCE

At least 6 years of solid sales experience in the field of IT and SaaS solutions, ELV and Security Systems.

Fluent in English & Arabic – French is a plus

Strong MS Office Suite
