GlobeMed Group, the largest Healthcare Benefits Management company in the MENA region is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer who will coordinate with the Development Manager and his team to develop the solutions of the detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables to the end user.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the manager or other more senior teammates to understand the functional requirements for the code that he/she will develop
- Assess requirements feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Converting business requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Produce clean, efficient code based on technical specifications and development standards
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
- Participate in testing process by conducting different types of testing
- Recommend improvements
- Coordinate with other ICT teams
- Document development phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 5-10 years of experience in Oracle software development
- Ability to work under stress and maintain a professional attitude
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong experience in used technologies, related certifications are a plus
- Understanding of business requirements, systems architecture, best practices in development
- Work under pressure
- Ability to communicate at different levels, using different communication tools
- Understand how and when to escalate issues
- Strong attention to details
- Fluent in English and Arabic
