Main tasks and responsibilities
· Have a strong knowledge of Container/Shipping Line/Air Freight Forwarding (products and services).
· Responsible for developing sales plans and performing data analysis
· Have a strong knowledge of the local market, competition and industry trends.
· Support individual salespeople with target accounts
· Leverages internal and external relationships to expand business opportunities.
· Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
· Research and analyze sales options.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
· Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements.
Build and maintain professional networks.
Background and experience
· 8+ years’ experience within Sales, preferable with 10+ years’ experience in Agency/Container Sales / Air Freight.
· Knowledge of containers and its movement, trade lanes, port. – Air Freight – Transportation.
Qualifications
Recognized bachelor’s degree.
Holding UAE driving license.
