Job Description
IT System Engineer role will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our Wintel & Linux hybrid platforms and its underlying infrastructure.
Responsibilities
· Ensuring overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability and security
· Maintain systems updates using SCCM and WSUS
· Monitoring and maintaining including configuration & security management, patching, automation, hardening and system upgrades
· Evaluate organizational vulnerabilities within assigned area of responsibility
· Design, test, perform upgrades and patches to installed operating systems and software deployment using SCCM
· Managing Antivirus Solution
· Keeping updated, accurate and reliable backups of application and databases
· Coordinate with all stakeholders and management of projects related to systems
· Develop plans, schedules, and requirements for deployment of systems
· Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements
· Documenting policies and procedures
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and/or respond to server outages
· Maintain reliability of systems by monitoring, running tests, and troubleshooting
· Monitor threats, alerts, security vulnerabilities; conduct regular reviews of security against policy goals
· Manage, research, and resolve complex end-user escalation incidents
· Manage Hyperconverged and video conferencing systems and integrations
· Manage and supporting Citrix infrastructure
· Manage VMware Infrastructure
· Manage server environment with Windows and Linux operating Systems
· Managing Active Directory and Group policies.
· Manage office365 tenant and all its collaborative suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
· Manage Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management solution
· Execution of infrastructure changes in compliance with given guidelines and procedures.
· Managing Redhat Servers, patching and vulnerability management.
· Manage PRTG Enterprise Infrastructure monitoring solution.
• Wintel Systems Administration and Patch Management
• Maintain servers & endpoints updates using SCCM, Adaptiva, Qualys, Intune, patch my PC and/or other tools.
• Patch automation, hardening, vulnerability management and system upgrades
• Provide systems Infrastructure support for projects & BAU
• Manage Anti-virus solutions.
• Liaising with vendors and respective stakeholders
• Document policies & procedures
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and/or respond to server outages

• Manage PRTG Enterprise Infrastructure monitoring solution.

• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
Qualifications and Certifications
· Bachelor or master’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent hands-on experience
· 6 plus years’ experience in the relevant role
· 2 plus year experience in the role of SCCM/Patch Administrator
· ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification
· Redhat Linux Certification
· VMware Certification preferred.
