Job Description
The BIM Manager will lead BIM execution and work closely with project Digital Delivery Manager and reports to the Engineering Managers. BIM Manager responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining project-level CDE and associated workflow (i.e., model coordination, collaboration, model federation, model health, LOD compliance, and clash management) in alignment with project scope and EIR, including routine CDE validation checks for compliance to BEP and project standards
- Assessing BIM capacity & capability of the supply chain during tender & bidding
- Drive standardization of CAD/BIM processes and tools within the delivery teams and supply chain
- Reviewing lead appointed parties’ BIM Execution Plans. Verifying that contractor’s BIM processes, data quality, and completeness tools have been put in place
- Ensuring CDE workflows with respect to design management, construction management, and change control have been institutionalized at the project level to support the BIM identified use-cases
- Lead and conduct Model review and Clash management sessions with the AEC supply chain
- Conducting project-specific required training and talent upskilling per identified needs
Qualifications
- BS degree in Architectural, Engineering or Construction Management
- 15+ years of experience with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
