professionals and jobs within the entertainment industry including commercials, branded content, catalog and e-commerce photography and video. A very niche oriented, but globally rising industry.

We are a 18 person team, with strong industry background, operating out of our main office in Dubai, UAE – providing facilitation, audition and casting director services, payroll services, coordination and planning for events, production and movie crews.

With a technology-first approach, we solve problems and provide tools to casting professionals, bookers, coordinators, producers and directors wanting to find temporary staffing, actors, models or anything in between – in a one-place-for-allapproach that saves not only time, but money on the budget!

We are Mixfame, the largest platform in the middle-east providing part-time workers and talents to TV Channels, Media Agencies, Production Houses and Global Brands within the production industry.

As a Principal Software Engineer with Mixfame, you take ownership for the growth and scale of Mixfame’s platform, working on an ambitious backlog of technology features and workflows that would help creators and talents get the best out of the platform.

We pride ourselves for being one of the few companies that are always on the edge of technology advancement. Our stack of tooling and programming languages are the latest in the market and you will be leading a team of enthusiasts and geeks who are constantly learning and honing their craft.

Requirements:

● Backend Dev: Python, Django, Django REST, Celery.

● Good understanding of agile and scrum methodologies.

● Having a sense of ownership of the business and translating it into technical requirements.

● Great communication skills and natural interest in dealing and working with people.

● Proactive attitude, proposes solutions to problems without being asked to.

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

● Minimum 5 years proven technical experience in software engineering.

Preferable (bonus) skills:

● Infrastructure and DevOps: AWS, Docker, K8s, Cloudflare, Nginx, CircleCI

● Wagtail CMS

● Test driven development

● Previous experience integrating Stripe payment gateway

● Knowlege of Vuejs and/or Nuxtjs

● Any Professional Certifications have a distinct advantage
