Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to employees with computer systems, hardware, and software issues. You will be required to diagnose and resolve problems and provide technical advice and solutions. The position requires an individual with at least 5 years of IT support experience, a valid driving license, and access to their own vehicle. You will be joining our team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to staff with computer systems, hardware, and software issues.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems.

• Offer technical advice and solutions.

• Maintain and update technical documentation, manuals, and procedures

• Test and evaluate new technologies to improve IT systems and services

• Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security software

• Assist in the implementation of IT projects

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and routers.

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in person.

• Provide technical assistance via phone, email or other communication channels.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software

• Knowledge of network protocols and security.

At least 5 years of IT support experience

• Valid driving license and access to own vehicle

• Excellent problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Windows Server 2012,2019 Experience.

• Windows Exchange Server 2019 Experience.

• Office 365 Full Administration.

• Familiar with Email Security Gateway/Archiving/Backup Solutions.

• Network and Endpoint Security Solutions. ( NAS/WAF )

• AVAYA Telephone System Management.

• NAS Drive Management.

• Cisco/Fortigate/Socwall Firewall Management. 

• Cisco/Fortigate/Socwall Switch Management.

• VPN Management.

• Wireless Solutions Management.

• Maintenance and troubleshooting following devices:

• Printers, Scanners, Fax devices, VOIP telephone systems.

• Access Control and CCTV Installation, Maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Installation, Maintenance, and troubleshooting of Network problems.

Certifications: CCNA, MCSC, and ITIL is an advantages.
