We are looking for a Business Development Manager to actively drive new business acquisition in Middle East (office based in Dubaï) within the Legal, Corporate, Government, Academic and any adjacent markets that can be identified with a need for the solutions provided by LexisNexis.
The role will be new business target driven and requires strong prospecting and closing capabilities.
Core Accountabilities
- Drive new business acquisition and market penetration for LexisNexis Middle East
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Account Management teams to generate new sales opportunities
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts with the purpose of expanding LexisNexis solutions across the designated territories and sectors using traditional, innovative and social selling methods
- Develop a strong relationship during the new business acquisition process and ensure a smooth handover after the acquisition to the Account Manager
- Maintain a strong New Acquisition Pipeline with accurate deal closure forecasting
- Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis
Experience
- Min. 2 – 3 years of experience in Direct Sales (preferable within the high volume subscription sales segment)
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Demonstrated proven performance against sales targets
- High level of presentation skills
- Confident to communicate and negotiate with staff at all levels
