<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for leading the overseas packaging layout approval, ensuring compliance with Lean Material Strategy, and always driving for continuous improvement, in addition to developing , maintaining the Plan for Every Part (PFEP).<br><br>As the <strong>Material Flow Engineer </strong>you are responsible for implementation of the internal material flow optimization projects from the receiving to production lines, going through warehousing, and lean distribution on production lines.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><ul><li>Executing work, you’re doing in support of supply chain organization’s business objectives.</li><li>You will provide support of one of the key areas within Supply Chain. Ensure business objectives goals are achieved or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.</li><li>You will be responsible for supporting relationship management and offering support to warehousing/manufacturing and suppliers.<br><br></li></ul>Position supports plans and issue resolution to ensure no or minimal impact to the supply chain.<br><br><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Competencies<br><br></strong>Knowledge and Experience:<br><ul><li>Minimum of one year experience in the industrial field, preferred in material handling, supply chain operations/planning, warehousing, production, industrial or manufacturing engineering<br><br></li></ul>Education:<br><ul><li>Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or any related filed</li><li>Lean-six sigma and/or PMP is a plus<br><br></li></ul>Skills:<br><ul><li>Good ability in problem solving and project management techniques</li><li>Good command of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or inventor, solid works) are preferred<br><br></li></ul>Competencies:<br><ul><li>Process Management</li><li>Drive for Results</li><li>Timely Decision Making</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Creativity</li><li>Managing Through Systems<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Job Description<br><br></strong>About GM<br><br>Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.<br><br>Why Join Us<br><br>We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
