This position is responsible for facilitating the sale of the Miral Destinations products and services in UAE market as well as identifying and exploring new ways to generate and maximize revenue for Miral Destinations. Sales Manager is a section head responsible for all leisure segments within UAE market, mainly focusing on DMC operation and supporting International Sales teams.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to:

  • Facilite indoor and outdoor sales activities as well as external client meetings.
  • Implement strategy for responsible industry or sector.
  • Formulate sales reports using CRM system.
  • Identify new business partners for the company.
  • Implement tasks set by the Director of Business Development
  • Prepare daily reports via CRM system.
  • Conduct DMC Product trainings & Educational webinars.
  • Generate and track all opportunities using CRM system.
  • Formulate and Implement set action plan and strategy for the assigned segment to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Conduct monthly client entertainments and execute review meetings.
  • Work in liaison with contact center team in confirming opportunities.
  • Communicate all sales campaigns to relevant customers and obtain proof of commitment.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for the Director of Business Development through consolidated and analyzed action summaries as well as sales tracking reports.
  • Develop and Manage portfolio of active and prospect accounts in coordination with international teams.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history thus identifying alternate means for filling requests and notifying the team and customers.
  • Resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices, forwarding resolution to Director of Business Development
  • Provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering questions.
  • Maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates.
  • Track sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses and therefore forwarding for reimbursement.
  • Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Manage assigned segment within UAE therethory in order to maximize sales revenues
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Director of Business Development
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Diploma in any field

Desirable:

  • University Degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing field

Years of Experience:

Essential:

  • 4-6 years of work experience in leisure segment handling all leisure sub segments and all International inbound markets

Desirable:

  • 5-7 years of work experience in/or within the hospitality/leisure industry

Skills:

Essential:

  • Experience in Account Management and negotiation
  • Minimum 5 Years presence in UAE market selling locally and internationally.
  • Understanding sales cycle for DMC, TO and Wholesaler clients
  • Experienced in DMC road shows and confident to conduct presentations.
  • The ability and desire to sell.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Full driving license

Desirable:

  • Fluency in a foreign language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Indian)
  • Experience in Business Development
  • Some work experience in a customer-facing environment, such as retail or hospitality
