Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide the bank with a better understanding of its customer base, using simple analytical techniques and the appropriate summary measures that enable identification of opportunities and spotting of threats.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Determine patterns and analyse customer behaviour to address business problems and generate actionable insights
  2. Assess the performance of different marketing activities (e.g. campaigns, product launch…etc) and their impact on the customers
  3. Gather, validate, and explore data in order to find hidden insights and patterns
  4. Analyse information from multiple data sources and business stakeholders to identify actionable insights
  5. Identify opportunities to drive customer value, through different customer behaviour analysis techniques
  6. Review customer data for trends, patterns, and causal analysis to assist in understanding customer behaviour
  7. Execute advanced analytics techniques to translate large and complex datasets into concise easy-to-use insights
  8. Collaborate with Business and Data Engineering teams to solve business problems and identify opportunities for building ready for use data products
  9. Assist in the communication of results, insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic performance in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics/Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering…etc.)
  • Master’s Degree in a quantitative or business field is a plus
  • Specialist: 0-2 relevant years of experience
  • Experience in advanced analytics or customer insights related jobs is a plus
  • Experience in banking industry would be a plus
