Senior Design Manager
Job Description
<strong>Role Purpose:</strong><p><br></p>We are looking for a Design Manager for a major program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<p><br></p>This role will be working on a major mixed use scheme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be responsible for managing design for mixed use buildings and infrastructure across this large programme.<p><br></p><strong>What this job involves:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Accountable for day to day delivery of design management tasks. </li><li>Develop the client design brief to suit the specific requirements of the project. </li><li>Undertake full design management and manage design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client’s expectations and budget. </li><li>Manage design through gateways in line with the contract and brief from the client. </li><li>Fully manage and handle local government approvals process. </li><li>Administer design contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions. </li><li>Produce design progress reports to suit relevant stages of the projects. </li><li>Monitor and report on the designer’s progress against the contract program. </li><li>Manage design consultant teams to ensure that the design is done in compliance with the contract. </li><li>Managing the design process, not personally responsible for delivering design or hands on producing design. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Desired skills and experience for this: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Degree Qualification is preferred for client approval and visa purposes. </li><li>Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential. </li><li>Experience in managing design for infrastructure / building projects in the region. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English. </li><li>International safety qualification / recognition an advantage but not essential. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What you can expect from us:</strong><p><br></p>We succeed together and believe the best inspire the best, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our success.<p><br></p>Our Total Rewards program reflects our commitment to helping you achieve your career ambitions, recognizing your contributions, investing in your well-being and providing competitive benefits and pay.<p><br></p>We can’t wait to see where your ambitions take you at JLL.<p><br></p>Apply today!<p><br></p>
