We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to lead our growing team of experienced Planning Engineers.

  • You will be a recognized expert with a minimum of 19 years’ experience in a similar role at a senior level (ideally within an Civil / Infra environment)

  • You have considerable Planning experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client side or for a consultancy.

  • Successful applicants will have experience of working on high value, high rise and other building projects.

  • Knowledge in the use of Primavera (P3/P5/P6) and MS Project is also essential

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential

  • Experience with Project Manager is an advantage.

  • Experience in identifying delays and preparing impact or time extension analysis reports

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Overseeing & managing a team Planning Engineers and Site Engineers

  • Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6)

  • Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports to the client

  • Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary report

  • Identify bottleneck areas and alerting management as well as develop solutions

  • Coordinate and interface with client, and other sub-contractors daily

  • Assist in the development of weekly snap shots as required by the client

  • Attend meetings with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information

  • Developing the appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to client

  • Assist in preparing time extension or delay analysis reports

  • Coordinate with the Commercial Team to ensure planning goals are achieved

  • Be a team Leader to ensure all deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion

  • Review and sign off on all deliverables prior to submission to owner & client

  • Interface with the Design Team to ensure issuance of designs meet the planned schedule

  • Interface with the clients project managers and zone managers on a daily basis
