It helps our customers to thrive, communities to progress and supports sustainable development.<p><br></p>Join our Smart Infrastructure Division as a Project Procurement Manager and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.<p><br></p><strong>Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!</strong><p><br></p>In this role you will join the Procurement function as <strong>Project Procurement Manager</strong> in our Doha office and responsible for the procurement activities of the division Smart Infrastructure in Qatar. Reporting directly to the CFO in Siemens Qatar and functionally to the Head of Procurement LCB-AE, we’re looking for Procurement Managers to work with our existing supply base and to proactively develop it further.<p><br></p><strong>Your</strong> <strong>responsibilities!</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Early involvement with sales teams to create procurement plans</li><li>RFQ setup, sending, and cross-functional quotation evaluation</li><li>Manage supplier capabilities to deliver materials and services in line with business requirements related to commercial, quality and supply aspects</li><li>Negotiate and implement supplier contracts for projects and support the execution team in case of any project issues caused by supplier side.</li><li>Develop and implement external Supplier and Commodity strategies as designated that will drive long-term improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery, with engagement and support of key stakeholders that enhance competitive and commercial performance of Siemens, its customers and its suppliers.</li><li>Operate within the Supply Chain Management Team / Procurement Team across the full product / service life cycle ensuring supplier commercial issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.</li><li>Sharing and implementing best practices and aligning with other SCM / procurement functions globally and regionally</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><br><br>Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!<br><br></strong><ul><li>Degree in a technical or business background</li><li>Min. 3 years of relevant experience</li><li>Experience in project procurement preferably in the building/construction/oil &amp; gas industry</li><li>Exceptional relationship development skills at all levels, with proven track record in successful negotiations and relationship management (internal &amp; external)</li><li>Strong ownership, attention to details and well organized</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and meet project deadlines<br></li></ul><strong><br><br>What else do you need to know?<br><br></strong>As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced engineering technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate – all thanks to our employees.
