<strong><u>Title</u></strong><p><br></p>Principal Pipeline Engineer<p><br></p><strong><u>Overall Summary</u></strong><p><br></p>A Senior Pipeline Engineer with proven experience in the design and engineering of transportation piping system according to ASME B31.4 and/or ASME B31.8 mainly for cross country pipelines, production pipelines, trunk lines, test lines and flow lines in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Conceptual Designs, FEED, and detailed engineering of revamps, grassroots, and brown-field medium to large scale projects.<p><br></p><strong><u>Duties And Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead a team of about up to 10 pipeline engineers and designers</li><li>Scoping of pipeline projects, including discipline deliverables</li><li>Develop discipline work plan</li><li>Develop basis of design documents</li><li>Estimate work-hours for pipeline and related projects</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, including the Clients</li><li>Responsible for design integrity of pipeline scope, performance of assigned staff, on-schedule delivery of the work within budget</li><li>Lead technical presentations to Clients and their representatives as may be required</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Key Interactions</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Broad understanding of other disciplines activities</li><li>Interact with the Project Management and other disciplines to achieve the design objectives</li><li>Client representatives</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications & Years Of Experience</u></strong><p><br></p>Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries<p><br></p><strong><u>Key Skills & Technical Competencies</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures</li><li>knowledge of codes and industry standards ASME, NFPA & API</li><li>knowledge in Plot Plan and equipment layout, pipeline layout, pipeline protection and drain systems philosophy</li><li>knowledge of pipeline location classifications and pipeline calculations, including hydraulics and surge analysis</li><li>knowledge in pipeline material selections and specifications</li><li>knowledge of Stress Analysis and Saudi Aramco Standards and procedures will be an added advantage</li><li>Must be proficient in English, oral and written</li><li>Good technical presentation skills</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>R2069203</strong>
