Hotel Overview:

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, near to Union Metro Station and Union Central Bus station also a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Learning & Development Coordinator

Are you passionate about Learning & Development? This role will be responsible for coordinating and conducting training programs to enhance the quality of staff and to improve the staff performance and efficiency in handling hotel guests as well as co-coordinating and administration of government relations matters.

What you will be doing:

– Provides orientation and training to current and new Heartists.
– Assist Department Heads to select and implement training programs for new and existing staff
– Assists in developing hotel annual training plans, training policies and procedures
– Assist in maintaining the staff training records
– Application of employee visa, medicals, Emirates ID, new/renewal of residence Visas and cancellation.
– Keeps updated records of all documents (soft and hard copies) and renew them before their expiry dates.
– Translation of official letters or guest letter from Arabic-English or English-Arabic for the management if requested.
– Assist employee with their requests related to govt. relations.
