– The main focus of the Marketing Manager will be to assist in developing innovative ideas to cater to the corporate, conference and inbound market segments that are the hotel’s client base. Addition to that, below is a list of typical duties for the Marketing Manager:
– Develop, proactively manage and implement the annual hotel marketing and PR plan to include media relations, social media, internal communications, e-Commerce, brand recognition and loyalty marketing within budget guidelines,
– Manage the roll out and execution of all marketing, media and PR initiatives, across all available channels to support the hotel in meeting their targets,
– Brand Champion ensuring compliance with brand standards in all activity and ensure hotel is engaged in corporate and brand initiatives in marketing and PR,
– Seek to grow social media followers and to enhance interaction with customers on these sites using relevant tools and techniques,
– Measuring performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of analytics tools
– Analysing digital marketing results and sharing insights with the team to develop optimisation plans.
– Creation of hotel collateral, signage and promotional materials
– Keeping on top of digital trends and helping to identify new digital opportunities.
– Support the Director of Sales and Marketing, to plan and implement the overall digital marketing business plan
– Manage internal communications in the hotel and take responsibility for updating any local stories, awards and sponsorship events to promote locally, regionally and globally.
