Position Overview

The IT Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that an organization’s technological infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient. He is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise within the company’s computer systems, such as network connectivity problems or software malfunctions. develop and implement security measures to protect the organization’s digital assets from cyber attacks, installing and configuring software and hardware, upgrading computer systems, maintaining system documentation, providing technical support to users, and training staff on how to use new technology.

To be successful as an IT specialist, you should have an in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies. Top candidates will also have an amiable personality and an aptitude for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Installing new software and hardware components.
• Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
• Assisting with network administration tasks.
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
• Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software.
• Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Professional certification is preferable.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication in french and english, both written and verbal.
