Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
– Checks and ensures that the applicable Egyptian and international instrumentation and control regulations, codes and standards are observed in the Technical documentation elaborated by the Contractors
– Contributes to drafting instrumentation and control policies and procedures
– Develops and reviews control and monitoring systems and telecommunications with basic and/or complex scientific equipment
– Reviews and advises on the metrology of measurement instruments
– Reviews and comments on conceptual, technical, and detailed design documentation
– Conducts inspection activities of instrumentation and control equipment and materials
– Supervises installation, testing and commissioning activities of instrumentation and control systems and equipment and prepares associated reports
– Liaises with other engineering disciplines on matters of instrumentation and control and telecommunications
– Develops training materials and conducts training on instrumentation and control systems and equipment
