Job Description
- Responsible for managing the technical and business delivery of LOB (Lines of Business) projects and to act as a Project Sponsor on common projects, leading all other teams in the delivery from a business side, as assigned.
- The Project Leader will be responsible for managing the project scheduling, cost, and delivery standards
Key KPIs include:
- Accumulative subordinates PM’s KPI’s
- Customer satisfaction & delivery against project specs
- Manage Small & medium sized projects independently in accordance with the company’s policy.
- Prepare the detailed project management plan.
- Identify risks and plan their management/mitigation
- Update the Account Manager on a regular basis, on the progress and development of the Project.
- Ensure the project’s overall objectives, targets at various key stages, and individuals’ responsibilities are clearly understood by all concerned parties
- Monitor performance against the plan; highlight areas of slippage and identify/initiate corrective action
- Prepare and submit project progress reports (as needed) to the program manager.
- Prepare project plan, communicate it to the team, and review the plan with the Project Manager from the client’s side.
- Manage the day-to-day activities within the project taking place on the client site and within the team working at Giza and manage problems that may arise.
- Communicate all necessary project purchases to the procurement
- Department and provide them with technical assistance for the ordering of project supplies.
- Follows-up on stage approvals with the client and compile acceptance sheets for each module, as well as final acceptance sheets for the whole project.
- Review and undertake quality assurance on all client deliverables prepared by the team before they are sent to the client, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Monitor the invoicing of a project and notify the Finance of all the necessary interim invoices to be issued to the client.
- Prepare and submit monthly project progress reports to the PMO, Program Manager and the relevant manager
- Support Senior PM, Program Manager when needed in some Project Management Tasks
- Create Project Plan on EPM system to allocate resources time sheet
- Request resources required on the project from resources manager, assigns work to the team, and monitors the progress of the team, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
- Manage the staff chargeability and all other project costs and expenses to ensure that they are within the budget and prepare and submit Project Profit/ Loss Status Reports to the Program Manager.
- Assess the training needs of the team and prepare a training plan for submission and approval by the Lob Head
- Follow-up Internal Policies & Procedures
- Register on MS Project all plans with achieved tasks and register delays.
